Re: 44 Set in the SB
Def agree with you there B. That is why I can't help but wonder if I should have gone for the turn C/R.

Set City
Wel,l played for a few hours live yesterday in the late AM and I flopped 6 sets. Half of them were big pairs that I didn't get a huge payoff with. The others were nice though. Wondered what others...

Re: Big draw on the turn in big pot
Dont fret OP, you will win these pots often enough with your draws and they are so big that just getting a few of them will make for a nice win.

Re: Value betting the river in multiway pots
Very well said PokerLIProse. How often do we see basd playuers not bet their hadns on the river and just happy with winning any pot? All too often. Value bettign is an area that I have been working...

Re: Big draw on the turn in big pot
"man i only have ATs no one in their right mind caps this," is exactly what you want them to think, so capping with this hand at times is okay.
I am leaning more towards a turn check with your...

Re: 44 Set in the SB
Okay, so good or bad, I just called the 5 bet by her on the flop. She then says, "Hmmmm. okay". So she figures that her hand is good since I didn't go a 6th bet. So far so good. The turn comes off...

Re: Pooh Bah Post(Warning: Long)
Looking back I was nervous moving to 4/8. Moving to 8/16 I wasn't as nervous. Highest I've played so far is the Commerce 9/18. Not really that nervous. I want to hit the HG 15/30 some time next year....

Re: 44 Set in the SB
I think her perception of me was tight and only coming in with a good hand. I also don't think she was the type to get this bet crazy with just top pair like an AK or AQ hand.

Re: 44 Set in the SB
I was fairly sure she was going to lead the flop here.
Fuzz, I think at some point if she keeps reraising me I have to figure she has QQ or KK and at how many bets do I assume that? I just wonder...

Re: Pooh Bah Post(Warning: Long)
Hey mwette, I too started playing those 2/4 tables there last year and I found it really hard to make anything. For a few reasons: I stunk, I didn't know what I was doing much at all(I am still...

44 Set in the SB

Re: In the pond (HG) with Frond
Yea against my range I would def muck that AT there. The other hand I had where you mucked the AT it was probably a good fold as well. With those turds I wasn't raising light.
PS. I was just...

Re: In the pond (HG) with Frond
Another tip to use against me: I also have been known to defend very light against a few 2+2ers in the BB.
