Re: ***SSNL [CHEESE] DEC***
Villain's 41/21 over 100 hands, never seen him do anything like that, and I just sat down at the table so I have no idea if he's on tilt or something (but I doubt it given his stack size).
Is this a...

Re: ***UnOfficial November Graphs Thread***
I didn't play much this month because of exams at school. ~2k hands at NL50 and a lot of up and down swonging after moving up to NL100 where hopefully I'll be able to stay for a while.

Re: NL10 - AKs unexpected river decision
Bet more on flop, turn and river please your bet sizing is really really bad.
As played that river overbet/raise is really scary, especially given his stats, and since you already have the Kc a...

Re: Flopped OESD, when do I give this up? 50NL
Flop bet is good (I'd bet a little more), you should probably check that turn / call a small bet, the 9 isn't really a good card to double barrell, he's never folding a pair. As played c/f the river...

Re: QJ - turned straight, standard? 50NL
This looks good, you might want to bet a little less on the river to be sure that any J is calling you, maybe ~7.
You should also include reads/stats in your posts, you'd get better anwsers imo.

Re: set on a semi-scary board, 50NL 66
Why didn't you raise the flop ? I would either lead or c/r this flop every time, too many scare cards to come and you want to build a pot in case he has something he likes.
Turn check / river bet...

Re: Trips Facing a Possible Flush
Why didn't you raise flop ? You have a set in a 3bet pot, it's not really the time for pot control. You have to make Asx ,Ksx pay their draw, and if a fourth spade comes in you'll either be behind or...

Re: Right move or not with AA?
This is good, maybe reraise a bit more pf. Obviously you're never folding AA in a 3bet pot on such a drawy flop.

Re: NL50 KK - ugly turn
On such a wet flop raising is mandatory unless you have a specific read. There are a lot of draws in his range, he might be donking / calling a raise with 99-TT or even TP. I'd raise more though...

What do you do with your set here?

Re: What do you do with your set here?
No need to get fancy here ,just 3bet this flop.
I'd also advise to raise more pf, or you'll often end up playing a 4way pot oop, and you'll have to check/fold a lot of flops.

JJ in BvB line check
Villain is unknown.
I though this was a good flop for villain to semibluff-raise, so I chose to call the small raise and b/f blank turns.
Is this OK ?

You check the flop because if he has a queen he is obviously not folding. Checking keeps the pot small and you can call and re-eval the turn.

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
Yeah I guess the flop is a weird spot, would you just fold to the raise ? Or not c-bet ? My line seemed OK to me, but I might be wrong. I think it's a good board for Villain to semi-bluff-raise, so I...

Quick question :
This is a spot I've been in several times, and I've always wondered if it was worth it to bluff the river here. When the spade comes we have almost no showdown value, but any bet...

Yeah there's a tiny mistake in the shove EV.

EV of shoving = x[(0.2*$35)-$10] + (1-x)*$15 = -3x + 15 - 15x

Re: 25NL - KK check river to induce bluff?
I'd just shove the river, unlikely villain bluffs with only 6$ left, he has to know he has no FE here imo.
If he had like 15 left a c/c might be OK if you think he has busted hearts a decent amount...

If Villain is really taking this line with ~atc, I think flat calling and calling any river is better than shoving. You don't really need to protect that much against a 6-outer as Nick C pointed out....

I like the turn bet, but you have to continue with a 3rd barrell, you won't get check-raised that often if he hit his draw anyway.

Yeah I agree this is how I would play it every time. Plus AKs is not that easy to play OOP, so shoving seems better than any other option.

KK vs short fish line check
Villain was the type of fish who will limp/call with ~atc preflop, but then goes into fit-or-fold mode postflop.
I didn't bet more on turn cause I didn't want to commit to a push.
By the river I...
