Re: berkshire hathaway
1) Berkshire's huge cash position is not a problem. Without all that cash, Berkshire wouldn't be able to charge such handsome premiums for underwriting such big risks. I like having the use of >$50...

"Then toss your dog in for only 45 secs to a minute."
If you lasted a little longer than 45-60 seconds maybe you'd have a cute asian GF like Hakkee.

Re: Second Nuts
In NLHE I could fold the second nuts on the river if there were multiple two-card combinations that beat my hand. For example, the board is Js,2s,3d,Ts,7d. I have KsQs. I lose to A9s, A8s, A7s,...

Re: Misplayed? Overplayed?
Folding is looking worse and worse with every bet that flies in. On draw-heavy boards in hands with little trust between the participants I don't like the build a big pot on the flop.

Re: help me
Bet and 3bet any turn card. Checkcall the river if 1) you are unimproved, 2) he raised the turn, *and* 3) a K, T, 7, or club has fallen. Otherwise bet and 3bet it.

Re: A-Qo BB battle - crappy day
What Surfbullet said.
In SB-vs-BB confrontations I try to avoid putting in much action unless I am going to the showdown. It's no good to put in all those bets and then fold on the river.

Re: Small blind defense standards?
In terms of EV of the current hand viewed in isolation, I like a preflop coldcall of the button from the SB with any two sooted cards both T or higher but K or lower and maybe KQo - KJo. The problem...

Re: 20/40 6-max, Ace-high
I don't like the preflop reraise. It's not that your hand isn't better than his (which it almost certainly is). It's that your edge is still small, you want him to retain the initiative until the...

Re: Chase This, Cockwad
This is weak. You should have folded preflop if you are gonna play it like this postflop when the button coldcalls. As it is, your preflop raise is fine, and you should bet the flop. You have...

Re: 10/20 A6o
Raise heads up and out of position with a hand that is probably a slight favorite but is difficult to play? And then miss bets postflop when you pair your ace?
How about this line? Check. ...

Re: Common line I take.
The bettor generally has an ace, a set, or a draw with 8 or more outs. If it is either of the first two, you are spewing. If you are up against a draw, why are you building a big pot on the flop? ...

Re: 30/60: Aces + an ugly board.
The only thing I'd think about doing differently is possibly raising on the turn with a caller in between you and the bettor. But this really depends on how likely the guy in the middle is to be...

Re: Out of position with good starters
best option: call preflop, checkfold flop.
next best option: reraise preflop and (if he doesn't cap), autobet flop and fold to a raise, if you still have cards on the turn autobet and fold to a...

If you make the call preflop, and if you flop a set, there is no way in a million years that you fold in limit holdem until you fail to fill up on the river and you are against an obvious straight or...
