Re: Is there a term for this?
Even if this isn't exactly what you're looking for, there's some interesting theories about friendships. (http://changingminds.org/explanations/theories/a_friendship.htm)

Re: Going to Mille Lacs Saturday... Will it suck?
The 3/6 kill game is, well.......interesting. SL is fun for a change of pace.
I hate the room itself. Be prepared for an indifferent floor, reasonably friendly but marginally talented dealers,...

Re: Treasure Island, MN
Other than the SL games, I can't think of any rational reason to make the drive. You hit all of the negatives
- long waits
- lack of dealers
- indifferent floor
add on
- it may be a NS room but...

When the pot is big, your main goal is to protect your hand. Period.

Re: TPNK in BB
I generally won't lead this flop, w TPNK, into 4 opponents.
It's one of those, "yeah I flopped TP but with two in the playing zone, multiple opponents and I hate my hand". I check and see what...

Re: Canterbury: Cash games during FPC?
Forget about playing any blue chip game Fri or Sat night. Unless you don't mind waiting. 3 tables @ 2/4 & 3/6 with 35+ waiting. 3-4 tables 4/8 20+ waiting. 6/12^ goes pretty fast. Games have been...

Re: TPTK vs. c/r 3-bet?
Pretty easy fold pF.
Feels like a couple of over cards with a BDFD, an over pair or set.
Meh, the price is attractive to call but I hate playing a big pot stuck between a couple of aggro monkeys...

Isn't the OP better served by leading this flop? Normally I'd take a c/c line HU but not against 3 opponents.
