Re: Live NYC 50/100 Trips
I think flop is a fold, given depth of stacks, poor texture of flop, and awful relative position sandwiched between bettor and another active player. That was a perfect turn, but most are gonna make...

Re: 20/40 I\'m a Payoff Machine
The SB's range seems to me to mostly consist of hands that whoop your a$$. I think this is an easy river fold.
In general, I don't give an unknown credit for check-raising the flop with the...

So everyone here would fold to this c/r with, say, KJ? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Definitely not folding a good 2 pair here. I agree with Andy; anything that beats...

Fold the flop but please don't fold preflop. PJ you nitbox.

3-bet preflop, 3-bet turn.

What he said. Also, lead the flop. You don't want to confront everyone with two cold with such a strong hand. Hope to get a few calls, a CO...

Re: FW 20 I Donk(Hand Against Myself)
If you're struggling folding on this flop with two players to act, I agree with PJ; just muck them pre. As played, fold the flop, and it's not that close IMO.

Re: 10/20 Live Bellagio River Full House
His line screams 77 or 22, and he's mathematically much more likely to have deuces full after that river, which is actually a good card for you unless you think K7s is in his range. Snap call.

I haven't clicked the link but it just clicked...he's from Baseball Prospectus? That's pretty sick. That stuff is wildly in-depth.

Re: middle pair to second pair to crappy flush
Yeah, why did you call the turn raise? Villain raised multiple players; he's not kidding. Get out of his way on the turn.
As played, I'd fold the river; his "not wanting you to call" look, even...

Re: Canterbury 30 hand
bakku, I get your drift and you're probably right that you're unlikely to be behind pokerbob (but certainly not impossible). Still, on that board, it seems like a stretch to think that you're...

Re: JJ 6 handed
Even so, given your description, it's not a typical casino 20-40 crowd. I still think there's plenty of merit to getting the hell out of the way given this action.

Re: Canterbury 30 hand
I think the turn is a bit overplayed; I wouldn't usually 4-bet into three people when a straight and flush are both possible. You really need a read for that to be correct, though it's not costing...

Re: JJ 6 handed
This is just a cooler of a hand, period. There's so much strength being shown that I think it's defensible to just get out of the way on the flop. The fact that it's 6-handed makes it much tougher...

Re: Fun w/ TT
C/F the turn. What are you ahead of? You're also not going to bully two people off their hands here.
Also, fold preflop. You're OOP with a very tough hand to play postflop that's often behind...

Re: QQ in 2nd position in level 1
This is an awesome flop to check. You're way ahead or way behind, and best of all, a Q may let you stack AK. Can't imagine any rationale for betting against a preflop reraiser here.

Re: We\'re Playing a Gambling Game
I think you have to bet the turn. Too many hands that are behind call you here to make checking correct.

Re: Big Pot River Decision
I really dislike this hand from start to finish. Fold preflop. If there were a bunch of cold callers for 3 cold, OK, but two opponents isn't enough to play 22. On the flop, start applying the gas....

Re: $40/$80 borgata AA
Bakku is obviously right; the bet is primarily for value. But it has the added merit of potentially inducing a bluff raise. Checking causes you to lose value from many hands that would call if you...
