Re: 25$ - Is this Push ok?
i guess there is an overwhelming majority of online players that shove preflop with mid PP or AK when they are 10-15x the BB where I usually would still see a flop. I will take everyones advice here...

Re: 25$ - Is this Push ok?
interesting. always good to get other peoples opinion on certain strategic play. but im not sure you can say, "you're in decent shape when villains calls a good percentage of the time."

Poker Prophecy, does it work?
Playing on tilt and someone comes into the lobby to advertise poker prophecy...so being curious I decided to check it out and it seems like it could be helpful distinguishing who the "pros" are and...

Re: 25$ - Is this Push ok?
why push with 88 here? if villian is tight as stats reflect then he/she are only calling off half their stack with a PP thats better than 88. A shove like that to me screams mid PP or AK, and if Im...

Re: Online bankroll management
interesting. I find that waging, or I would say investing, 10% of my bankroll on a specific game is too high online. Does the author state what percentage of your bankroll is optimal at waging for a...

Re: villian min bets, what does that signal?
which is why I asked the question because I do believe there are players online that pretend to be straight from the pond and min betting post flop is one way to trigger aggressive players to go...

Re: Getting Minraised on Dry Flop - Totally Lost
rive card is a scare card to villians holdings if in fact he has a J. most likely villian is playing QJ or JT on the button. u played AA pretty passive the whole way and then firing on the river when...

Re: $4/180 - Final heads up hand
[ QUOTE ]
Am I the only one who hates the flop call?
Position, top pair, gutshot, builds fold equity for later streets... if he's calling he's probably chasing his overcards.
He didn't raise...

Re: $20+2 - Defending BB
u ran into a big hand. nothing u can do. ur reraise pre flop would have gotten called so the end result would have been the same.

Re: villian min bets, what does that signal?
i guess min bets aggrevate me. Im just trying to think if any skilled players use such a betting tactic because generally speaking the min betting is done by less skilled players online. Unless there...

villian min bets, what does that signal?
A min bet of say 40 into a 460 chip pot is so annoying and most of the time online it means weakness. I generally call the min bet on the flop with just about anything and then raise on the turn....

Re: $20+2 - Defending BB
good point gt. the optimal play would be a re-raise pre flop and shove on flop. hmmm...possibilities are endless in this game!

Re: $20+2 - Defending BB
then c-r would be my play and if he reraised then you can lay it down, though your likely putting more chips into play by c-r instead of c-cl the flop, then betting the turn but I would want to push...

Re: T8 Steal gone outta control what to do now?
call the flop and see the turn but it looks like your way behind on this one. A min reraise preflop seems sketchy as villian wants a call and with that flop u could be drawing close to dead. Ur...
