Re: Folding overcards

I like a 4bet preflop and fold to a push. It gets more information, but given the texture of the flop and the action, nh.

I don't like to 4bet this in position...

Re: AK run
Yes, please bet this flop OOP against two PF callers. Building pots OOP with air is how you get mad monies, yo.

Re: NL 25: Is this a Fold on the Flop?
Limp/RR screams out monster to me, especially since it's a min-raise. I hate the flop raise. Calling isn't terrible since it's such a tiny bet, but honestly, is folding the best hand in this spot...

Re: NL25 88 3-Bet preflop - C-Bet gets reraised.
If you raise I doubt you get called by a worse hand, and if you call, you either see a scare card on the turn or a non-scare card where you still don't know if you are ahead. I say just let it go. ...

NL 50: C/R the turn against a possible floater
I've been whiffing a lot of flops with AK, AQ, AJ, etc lately (running kind of crappy), and it seems like my c-bets are getting no respect (ain't that always the way). After one guy limp-calls, then...

NL50: brutal river card makes straight on board
No reads on this player and I had no hands on him in my database prior to this table. This is an obvious fold on the river, correct?

Re: We don\'t really beat much, do we?
That's a really strange line from a villain with those stats. You could be ahead of something like 22-99. Those are about the only hands that make sense that you could be beating, although it would...

NL50: Overpair on the flop in a 3-bet pot PF
C/F this flop is too nitty. C/C really sucks I think. A bet only gets called or raised by a better hand most of the time, but may let me know I'm beat. So is bet/fold the best line here? What if I...

I was pretty much lost on all streets here so I just called down (<<<<< lol). Since I blow postflop, please help me make sense of this mess on all streets. Should I have raised somewhere? Folded...

NL50: Second nuts on the river facing 3-bet
Does this just belong in BBV or should I be folding to the river 3-bet? I feel like the river raise was fine, although I would certainly like to hear an argument otherwise. Once I am 3-bet, I felt...

Re: 50NL:AK family pot
I'd just call behind. Raising doesn't accomplish much since villain will prob ably shut down if he's behind and repop if ahead, or at least call if ahead and you lost more. There's a decent pot...

Re: NL25 - When should I have shut down?
I used to make PFR's like this under the misguided notion that it was good to be the aggressor. Yes, it is. But you will not take this down PF nearly enough to compensate for the times you get...

Re: NL25: AQo in BB, advice on play
Reraise preflop with AQ nearly always. The exception is if a complete rock is the opener or if there has been a raise and reraise already. I prefer a check/call on the flop here. Call this river.

Re: 25NL: Set vs flush?
The only flush draws villain would likely have would include a pair or a str8 draw of some sort, as his UTG raise indicates high cards. When I hold draws of more than 10 outs on the flop I am...

Re: 25NL: Set vs flush?
I think he bets the flop with Ax of hearts as his equity is enormous. His checking the flop leads me to believe he doesn't have the flush draw and has AA-TT, with other crap being remotely possible....
