Re: 78s line deep: 600NL
fwiw i would be the flop almost 100% of the time as the initial raiser with a hand like 78 that has no showdown value.

Re: 400nl - J10 facing a donk lead on river
[ QUOTE ]
I raise the flop with literally 99 percent of my holdings anyway in this spot, so that's fine... the river on the other hand, is a fold.

Re: Stars 600. Bluff raise on the river.
i dont like it either. all draws got there and I dont think he is betting without a flush or a 7 and to make this raise you're just really hoping he has the 7 and can fold it, which button vs blind I...

Well, my thinking was that i was betting to protect my hand on a drawy board. If I bet way less, this goal is not accomplished.
I guess betting smaller will get called by a...

Re: so you\'re 61/33, sir
In my experience half pot, half pot, full pot, is either a strong hand that has been missing value or a big suckout on the river, which wouldnt really make sense here.
so no thats not enuf info,...

Re: 5/10 Deep vs Bad Reg
If you've seen him c/r two streets I'd check this back. You're hand has a ton of equity vs his range here but you won't be able to call another c/r.
Plus, even if you miss your draw you can always...

Re: 3/6 Kinda weird 4-Bet-Hand
I prefer shoving the flop like TomChan said. If he is calling your 4bet leaving less than a potsize bet behind we've got to assume he will call with 99-JJ on a Qhigh flop. You dont want to miss any...

Re: How should I play overpairs oop?
already said but your 3betting should be bigger, usually a little bit more than the pot size. Also, you should be betting about 2/3 pot on the flop, and getting it AI with KK there on the turn there....

push him off JJ/QQ on the flop bet/fold and c/f if he calls. I cant see JJ,QQ calling another bet after being 4bet and the K hits.
