Re: 2/4 6max: Check or Bet

I like a c/r ai. I think it folds out the majority of his range and if called you have outs. If he checks behind, a free river for you - not a bad deal.

Re: blind battle - debatable on all streets??

Once I check the turn, Im calling a river bet. Its BvB so I dont think hes going to give you all the credit in the world especially given your image from your HU battle. Your turn check looks like...

Re: 400NL: Extracting max value with sets, 2 hands

1. Cant fault the turn shove. However, I wouldnt mind checking through the turn with intentions of shoving the river. By checking the turn, he may be more apt to put you on a draw.

2. You can lead...

400nl: Weak over pair facing flop min raise

My image is solid TAG. Villain is 27/7/.6 over 260 hands. My only read is that he is not a good player.

400nl: AA top set scary river OOP

Re: 99 in strange, tough spot.. plz advise

I agree with shoving the turn. I think you can definitely give him credit for a 4, but as a solid reg you can give him much more credit for a draw/ air here.

400nl: Akward turn spot w top two

Have only been at the table for two orbits. Villain is 84/15/.8. With rake the pot was actually $298 (psychological factor?), I had $313 left on the turn.

Re: 400nl deep bluff

Looks like a blocker bet with QQ, TT. Your shove represents AK, which does conform with your line. I dont think there are too many hands other than JJ hes calling with here OOP. I like the shove.

Re: 400nl reraised pot action

Turn is good. Although I have no history with villain, Im assuming his preflop 3b range is pretty wide here. His flop check doesnt scream weakness. I think he has a marginal hand here with some...

Re: Draw on turn against tricky TAG

With the draw heavy board, Im assuming he's raising his sets. You did say he was tricky, though. Check his turn aggression, if he's aggro Im c/r this board and calling his shove. If he checks, more...

Re: FT400 Ridiculous situation with a bluffcatcher

Fold. The pot is not offering good enough odds to catch a bluff.

Re: 400NL - Top two and I don\'t like my options

100nl: Nut flush on river vs. over shove on paired board

$165 effective stack size. Villain is 16/3/.8 over 200 hands. What hands am I ahead that he does this with? He had not shown signs of this type of aggression all session. I'm interested in some hand...

Re: 200NL - how bad did i play JJ here?

Kilillan- Thanks for the response. I have a couple of questions. His bluffing range is definately wider than his calling range here- excellent logic. But by allowing him to take control of the pot,...

Re: 200NL - how bad did i play JJ here?

Good question. On the basis of his 25/19 play, I feel that it is safe to assume that the turn did not help him. His numbers indicate pretty standard TAG play for 6-max. Is he calling a 3-bet with AT,...

When you 3-bet someone from the blinds, you should nearly always fire a c-bet of at least 3/4 of the pot. In this particular instance you should fire a c-bet not only as a part of your 3-bet arsenal,...
