Re: turn decision

the pot is small so getting 3-6 outers to fold, in case he is bluffing, doesnt have much value. an argument for calling down.

He will call with his 3-6 outers, so this is...

I b/c this all day long:
A /images/graemlins/heart.gif and Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif practically allways valuebet here and 8/7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif will often do so too. Considering...

Re: Overcards vs donkin TAG
Peel and raise any A, K, Q, J and flushdraw. As you can tell, you have lots of outs. I would check an unmade turn if chekked to.

Re: 5/10 UB 98s vs TAG
I agree with Wu. Only hand he can value bet here is a J which would often bet the turn. So he'll bet more when we are ahead than he'll call.

Calling and raising a blank turn is superior to calling down.

Re: Flopped low pair BB against SB
I don't like the turn raise one bit. A villain as described is not folding any pair. I think calling down all the way is your best option closely followed by a fold on the flop.

Re: 99 donked twice.
I raise the turn. This donk is rarely a Jack. Villain raised preflop whic usually would mean QJ-AJ and these hands 3-bet the flop. I find it more likely that he is donking an 8, an underpair or a big...

Re: JJ facing turn ck-raise
@Oink
If he caps we don't have 9 outs! Hell, we rarely have 1. And beside we are not putting anymore bets in than calling. The turn reraise is putting villain in the position of making maximum...

Re: how about this
I think it is more questionable to call the river than to check the turn. If villain calls the flop 3-bet, then I think we are behind more often than we are ahead, so I go for the free card. Calling...

3-bet the flop, take the free turn card, call any none club river and avoid all this pondering! We are looking at an A or a flushdraw often but some of the time a TAG will realize your move on the...

Re: .5/1 Correct to peel?
[ QUOTE ]
Just because the outs are not clean does not necessarily mean we do not have odds to draw.
How I would count them:
BDFD = 1.5 outs
A = 1.25 outs
J = .25 outs
BDSt8 = .25 outs

Re: .5/1 Correct to peel?
An OESD can complete somebodys straight making it very expensive to draw. the same with the flushdraw. Picking up an A will often make a 2nd best hand, so will a J in addition to completing someones...
