Re: 250BB deep, 5-2 offsuited
It's not really a battle. Rather like spanking eachother lazily with wet towels. I really don't see a point in raising preflop - we're deep and I have position with a total garbage hand. The problem...

Re: Did I play this AK fine?
Thanks for replies. I'm feeling a bit lost when sizing my 3bets. Should it be 3x the amount of money already in the pot or some other formula?

Re: 25NL, stupid or ballsy raise with TPTK?
Why do you say it is a bluff? Do you actually want to make him fold? Imo if you decided to play for stacks, then it should rather be for value.
I'd 3bet the flop to ~10 to see if he pushes. If...

Re: How to play AK preflop?
[ QUOTE ]
Depends a lot on stats reads dynamics and history.
Readless fold 1 and shove 2.

Shouldn't it be the other way around? Reason being that it's advisable to push when...

Re: NL25 worth putting in the hours?
Depends on what's your background and skills. At NL25 you can expect to run ~5PTBB/100 playing good & solid ABC, that'd be ~2.5$ per 100 hands. You'd need to play approx 40K hands to reach 1k$.

Re: Bottom 2, call or not to call river bet.
I'd say that river pretty much killed your action. As this guy is calling from BTN, he probably isn't very solid and is limping Ax / low PP that all could have made it. I would call 1/3 - 1/2 pot,...

Re: 66 on 844 board
IMO you need to punish UTG for his donkbet and raise. This also give you some info where you're at. If he donks again on turn, I'd probably fold. If he checks, you can at least take a free card and...

Re: What does this graph mean? :o

Raise more preflop. Like 3x as much.

This is definately true, but it's easy for the vets to say that 'raise more pf', but when you're still a quite new player, raising...
