Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
I don't know if he's trying to bluff someone who's calling him down light but instead he's trying to value bet with hands that would normally be bluffs. I think that's what he means.

Re: Draws and overcards got there.
I think that I would reraise on the flop a little bit more. Maybe to like .90. As played on the turn I find it pretty hard to continue and I would probably fold. But maybe I'm weak I don't know.

Re: Anything wrong here?
I think this is a pretty dangerous spot if he was really tagish. I think I might have re-raised the flop with AQ because he could be continuation betting with lower pairs. But as it played out I...

Re: Top pair, flush draw on turn
I would have reraised the flop to maybe $2.10. Folded if the villian pushed all-in. On the turn I call because you have tons of outs. Flush draw and maybe either hitting a Q or K (unless he has...

I am getting it on in on this flop. Good overpair against a very loose 10NL player. I am not folding this hand at 10NL.

Re: $5 nl, is this +EV???
Yeah sorry, I reading through the hand too quickly. I'm not really sure if I like the pre-flop call, but it might be fine at these levels if people are 3-betting with a pair. I say this because...

Re: 50NL value bet or bluff?
I agree more with the first two posts. I don't like betting at all in this spot. Yeah there's a chance he calls with a worse hand but there is also a chance that you will get reraised off your hand...

Re: $5 nl, is this +EV???
It may be +EV depending on if 5NL players will call that with something like A7. But whether it is or not there are definitely plays that are more +EV. With that play you are going to fold out most...

Re: JJ on a Q high flop facing a shove
Do you have any stats on villian? The play seems fine. The villian is pretty much broadcasting his hand on the flop which gives you an easy decision. And I think that with calling a 3-bet preflop...

Re: AKs in a rr pot- playing for stacks
It looks standard to me. The only hand I might be afraid of is AQ. What do others think about a check/call all the way down line? Thinking about it it seems there aren't too many hands in his range...

Re: AK when flop misses
I think you should call the flop. It ends the action and there's a good chance that you have 6 clean outs. I'd say that there is a good chance that the villian is doing this with any two overs being...

Re: Value meal this river or check behind?
How come you advocate a shove? Villian has put in $4.30 of his stack in already but why would he call the other $6.15 of his stack with a hand that TPGK beats? Do you think that villian will call...

Re: Top set into maniac halfy
As played on the turn I would try to put him all-in. I could hardly see anyone putting in 2/3 of their stack in a pot just to fold to resistance. And exactly what you don't want is for him to get...

10NL Flop a set and river completes 4-card straight
Villian is running 50/10/4.
Villian was betting almost every card. So the reason I didn't bet out on the flop and turn is because I wanted him to put the money in. My reasoning was that he would...

Re: NL50 : AA facing minrase
I would shove it against this player. He is very loose but I don't think two pair or a straight is in his range. He raises most of his hands so calling your raise must mean a fairly decent hand. I...

I'm lost in these spots as well. In a non 3-bet pot I would say it is normal up until the river when you should have checked behind but in this spot I think I might check behind on the turn to avoid...

Re: AKo....to call or not to call...that is the question
I'm not sure what others would say but I don't like it. You have outs to the 2nd nut flush but you'd probably have to discount those outs because he might already have the flush. I think we're about...

I don't think there is too much that you are ahead of. Based on his stats he is really loose but his raising range is fairly tight. I don't know if I would reraise the flop against such a tight UTG...

I think that if you were going to raise on the flop it should have been a larger raise. With such a small raise he could be calling with a range that is much wider only hands that beat you. On the...

Make a c-bet on the flop for maybe $5.00-6.00. If he calls or raises on the flop then I am done with the hand.

10NL FTP Table Selection
