Re: What the smartest Vegas poker boss will do.
The smartest Vegas poker boss will do absolutely nothing and thus hold on to his/her job until retirement. Every poker boss has corporate bosses, who have bosses etc. The smartest poker boss does as...

Re: Any hope for party returning?
The UIGEA is blatant protectionism. The UIGEA was paid for by American corporations precisely to stamp out Party etc.
There will be internet gaming in America, but "licensed" and "regulated"...

Re: Dallas SWAT: Keeping the country safe.
Sick.
Poker playing is legal in casinos, so therefore it's not illegal, is it?
But only certain entities can offer games. That's what happened to online poker - casinos want the monopoly.

Re: So much for Barney Frank
All Barney Frank is saying that he's going to need a lot of support on this. If there's 23 million online poker players in the U.S., now's the time for them to be heard.
Seeking a carve out for...

Re: NL: Why the hate on short buy-ins?
What if a full stack loses 60% of his stack and is now short stacked? Is he now scum too?
The Vip program on Stars makes it a lot more profitable to buy in for minimum at higher games for multi...

Re: Is optimism insane?
You can't stop progress. The Internet has transformed our lives, including the way we play poker.
If the American authorities are throwing arcane laws from 1961 at successful web businesses, then...

Re: The US needs to die.
If the proposterous UIGEA hadn't been snuck in and if the DoJ hann't gone after Neteller, we'd all be enjoying our online poker.
How dare this government tell us what we can and can't do on the...

Re: online tougher than B&M???
Live is much easier, but a lot slower - if you 4-table, you're getting 250 hands an hour online, 30-32 live.
Live, the rake and the tipping will eat you up. I don't think live limit is even worth...

The DoJ have no case against Neteller, but they're screwing them anyway, because they can. These are the same people who put Tommy Chong in jail for selling bongs over the Internet. The DoJ is also...

Should Tiger Woods be playing golf for play money? Everybody does everything for money.
Let's face it, if only a million people...

Re: Goodbye and Thanks for all the Fish
A lot of people are done, because the fish are done. Savvy players will find a way to get money in and out, the fish won't bother.
Some players claim nothing has changed and they're still making...
