Re: K9o in the SB..
Folding K9o in the SB is too tight but I'd be interested to know if there was a plan if villain shoved.
As played I'm just about in agreement with its WA/WB enough to check turn (assuming we're...

Re: Chipleaders Clash 4-left. $12/180 FT
This isn't quite as super obvious unbelievably insta-snap call as it seems because cEV & $EV have diverged hugely if you need to win 57% of the time. But it's still an easy call because he's shoving...

Re: Simple pf spot vs Bill Ivey in $650 sat

On the other hand I have been the tightest player on the table (card-deadness + too many stations) and have probably been perceived as a rock.

Re: JJ - Final Table
I think your ranges are too narrow. UTG is actually CO-1 & so to shove over him I put COs range nearer 99+/AQ+ & thus JJ is an overdog so I call.

Re: preflop decision III
[ QUOTE ]
This huge raise-size isn't typical for a high PP, maybe he plays AK that way or a medium PP like JJ or TT. Against any of these hands we want to get all his chips and not chase him away...

Re: preflop decision III
I don't see him ever folding to a shove so I'd just shove it in right now with KK.
With AA I'd really want the BB in so I'd flat then.

Re: check behind or fire
I'm going to disagree with most here. I like checking behind.
Basically I hate bet/calling & I hate bet/folding whilst I think checking has pretty decent implied odds versus 2 players on this board...

Re: Call w/77 in BB, 6 player table
[x]Shove >> fold because 77 is probably ahead of his {Chip leader & CO} range & there's lots of overlay.
[x]Shove >> Call/evaluate because that's always a horrid line with these stack sizes....

Re: Folding overpair to board for small river bet
Raise preflop. Being seen as very active is even more of a reason to raise & be happy to call a shove, because you'll get played back at by more worse hands than normal and raise/calling/losing to...

Re: AQ can I fold here?
I always make the call in these spots but I'm not sure it's right against a lot of villians.
I'd be looking to bet a lot nearer pot on flop against that many players on a drawyish board, and leaving...

Re: What is his range
Lot's of things he could have. 2 pair or better -- A9, AK, sets could be played like this. Fairly rare for a flush to play this way. Any decent or fairly bare Qc (e.g. decent = QcA, fairly bare =...

Re: JJ MP with UTG Limp
I'd raise more than 600 with a limper in, ~1K. Then I'm happy to call 1 shove.
As played 2 players have got involved & there's slightly less dead money/overlay & I think you should fold JJ here. I'm...

Re: $5/27 p10s in the BB, WWYD?
[x] 130-140 would be a standard sized raise there, so 160 is not that unusual/weird
[x] Raising intending to fold to a shove is bad. Raising intending to call a shove is bad. Shoving is bad.

Re: RTR 10K Freeroll - AK on bubble
It's worth a lot more than $10 to you. First prize is $2500, second is $1500 etc, a lot of your equity in this tournament is based in the small chance of reaching there. Doubling up here doubles your...

Re: Second pair and nut flush draw OOP
Id probably check turn because people never fold Aces there & they don't call with worse so I don't see enough of a reason to bet.
River I'd definitely check/fold he's bluffing almost never there,...
