Re: A5s on the bubble
I'd make my standard raise here which is 800 with a bb of 300.
OP said there hasn't been much restealing going on so presumably you're not going to get shoved on very light so if someone does...

Re: $11 Sunday 100K on the bubble
calling's not an option either...you really think calling 1/3 of your chips and folding to a less than favourable flop is a good option?
you're short and it's an ridiculously easy push...this is...

Re: $6 FO Party - Flopped top two
I would've expected villain to have 88 here...but probably would've stubbornly called the shove.
My reasoning is if I'm 3-betting the flop it's with the intention to never be folding...if...

this is a thread where I picture Barry coming in and teeing off on OP and restating his desire for a mid-level mtt forum.
anyways this hand is pretty awful. I don't think minraises are ever...

Re: Deep in 3r on FTP.. Should I have just shoved preflop?
if I was going to go for a go&go (if you got a call) I'd raise bigger to set up a near pot sized shove on flop...as played with all the callers it was a near psb but if ace wasn't on flop would you...

I'd tell myself I should call..but since I find occasion to be a scared nit, I'd fold. I think it's a call though.

Re: FTP 2r, QQ in SB, too weak/tight?
shove unless 3-bettor is nitty mcnitterson who doesn't 3-bet without the nuts.
most of the time I don't see AA/KK 3-betting this big at these stakes (almost 4x the original raise) because...

Re: Are 3$ rebuy players capable of squeezing?
full tilt has a bet pot option just right? I'm guessing that's what your raise is based on.
I don't play on FTP but I play some tourneys on UB and there's a bet pot button there too. Whenever...

easy fold for me even though table is 7 handed there's still too many players left to act (plus you said table is playing loose...which presumably would get a loose call)

Even though it's often difficult to think like a donkey, I don't see him limping a big hand in co here. An EP limp/shove I could see his range skewing towards premium hands but not LP. ...

when you raise 4x instead of 2.5-3x it just juices the pot even quicker and with 30 or so bb's you'll get pot committed faster. I don't play live but online I find that you usually get the same...

Re: 24+2: aces gets action on hyper messy board.
If you flat it, there's a lot of cards that could come on turn that you won't like (as you've pointed out), so I wouldn't like calling 1/3 of my stack and folding to a scare card.
My first...
