generally, double your wage, and thats how many thousands you make a year (comes from 40 hour work week and 50 weeks = 2000 hours / year).
I'd assume most poker players put in more than 40 a week...

hubbles didnt used to cap at 10,000 during certain hours, and ive played one with 13,000 entrants. Not sure if that counts as a real poker tournament, but its about as big of a crapshoot as todays...
