Re: NL100 - dumping AA?
obv I never fold against CO ( who had Ks2c btw. /images/graemlins/smile.gif )
but what do I put UTG on? pf limp/call range is heavily weighted to SCs and small and middle pairs. From that range a...

NL50 - AA in 3bet pot
I guess I am not allowed to fold AA in a 3bet pot /images/graemlins/smile.gif right?
Should I have bet the flop or is it ok to wait to get it in on the turn?

NL100 - dumping AA?
Is this a spot where I fold AA? Or is the board too drawheavy for that? On the other hand the minraise does not look like it wants us to fold.

Re: NL50 - JJ vs bluffy villain
Yes I know the theory. I just really don't know how I should evaluate the calling down from EV perspective because I can not estimate (not even roughly) how often he has the A, or what my equity...

Re: NL50 - TP + FD - call turn AI?
I thought a set is most likely with an overpair being a possibility. But yeah I folded, just wondered if it was not a mistake.

Re: NL50 - JJ vs bluffy villain
if I call flop the pot will be 25$ - two reasonably sized bets from him (which he will most likely fire with or without an A judging by his previous play) will result in us being all-in
he might...

NL50 - JJ vs bluffy villain
Villain was running around 50/4/2. I won a couple of big pots vs him where I called him down - one hand he had A8s (which he limped from the CO) and instaPSB all streets on A high board, I hit my...

NL50 - TP + FD - call turn AI?
this is really weirdly played by villain, I thought this is very close between folding and calling. What do you think?

Re: Do you c-bet here?
I wouldn't cbet this. If he checks again on the turn I might take a stab 1/2 pot or something.
And I agree that a Th9c6h is even worse.

Re: 50NL: Lost against a shortie
pf is fine IMO, you can just call and play for set value but you can raise to have the initiative in the hand. If you raise you will try to win the pot with a cbet if the flop is right
this flop...

Re: 10NL-AK line
If you have a read that he's a floater and steals on turn if you give up after you cbet or that he's a fish then you can c/r turn.
Without reads I bet 2$ on the turn. If he raises I have a...

this should be exploitable
a. cbet less often and if he fires when checked to regularly consider checking when you hit sometimes
b. if you cbet (with lower frequency than normal), cbet bigger...

Re: 12 outs race with fold equity
I don't think we need fold equity to shove, there's enough ovrlay in the pot allready and this is A8,99 so often that we can expect to have more than 12 outs

Re: 25nl: WTF???
If a "blank" 9h hits and he checks (don't know if it's likely) you would have to bet big or give a free card - I don't like either with such a weak hand.
If he bets the 9h on the turn around PSB...

Re: NL10: TPTK Complete Idiot
this does not look like a draw, he would most likely check behind on the turn or bet smaller if he was drawing. I guess a lot of players do this with TP worse kicker especially BvB so a shove is OK

if i call what do i do on a blank turn?
[/ QUOTE ]
what is a blank in your opinion?
you either make a straight or the board pairs which could give villain trips or an overcard hits

Re: 25nl: WTF???
I screw up in this spot a lot. I tend to go after bad players with bad hands and loose big pots. If you look at this you have a small overpair and a straight draw that would need 4 cards from the...

you have to call, this really looks like a bluff, maybe Ax suited
I think he would have bet all his made hands on the turn so this really looks like air or Ax but you have a better kicker for sure
