Re: JJ overpair. what\'s your standard play?
100% raise flop, he could so easily be doing a pot size bet to check where you really stand while Holding AK etc.. Then even if you call he may hit A or K and take the lead.
Also if you 3 bet and...

Re: chris ferguson challenge
I have to say, if he dropped his limits like he explains in his post, I'm surprised he dropped so fast. It's very possible, but for a player of his skill unlikely if he keeps dropping limits as he...

Poker saved my life
Ok, it didn't save my life at all, I saved my life as all normal people would.

Re: Is it possible to just be an unlucky person?
You are not unlucky, you just haven't played enough games yet.
I know that sounds harsh, and it's not a digg, but there are a lot of combinations of cards in poker, and as such it's possible to...

Re: $400 AQ TPTK

Re: No limping in 6 max?
Hi, just wondering if anyone has any feedback on this.
If I am UTG with AA, I have tried raising by any amount and it can lead to one of 3 situations, only one of which is desirable.

Re: Some thought on ...... ahem ..... Bad Beats
Maybe I have been playing too many cash games recently, but with only 7 top pair and only 1 card that could make a straight, surely you don't go all-in?
If you had raised by a decent amount you...

Re: Show my bluffs at SSNL?
If you are playing against solid players, there is never a reason to show a hand. They actually know more about the way you are playing than you do, don't help them.
I actually realise I'm doing...
