What hand do think you he has?

I just don't think you are thinking about the game the right way. In poker you don't think about what hand they have. You think about the...

Re: NL 25 - QJ vs loose opponent
Nice reverse implied odds situation. I hate calling flop raises to check-fold the turn but this is probably the right move. The guy is pretty passive (small sample I know) so if he fires turn I think...

Re: Value Extracting.
H2 is hideous. No amount of info is worth paying 40% of your stack for.
H3 I like leading these flops with sets but as played I bet bigger on turn. Making it $15 sets up an easy river shove. Shove...

Any reason why you didn't c-bet flop in hand 2?

I've been raising and cbetting flop like 90% of the time. So I kinda wanted the check to mean "I've got a big...

Re: NL5 - 5 handed 98s OTB
If villain is weak tight I'm more inclined to call. We can push him off hands like u/i AK post flop and 89s does very well against a hand like AA.

Re: nut straight, how\'s my betting?
I think half the remaining stack sizes looks good. About $17-18 I think. Should get looked up my ace-rag and might invite him to push over the top.

Re: Party 50nl: facing river bet from a donk
Yeah I'd call. If villain had a Jack he would have gotten excited before this. The only conceivable hand he could have which beats you is a set of 5's.
The fact that your 9's block many of his...

Re: 25nl KK Donked turn, checked river
Looks fine. If he has you beat surely he'd bet river.
I guess he could have a Jack and be worried about his kicker but I really doubt players with those stats worry about kickers with open trips.

Re: Fold to a limp/minraise with AJo preflop?
Its tougher with AJs and AQo but seriously this guy raises PF 3% of the time. Its really not a nice spot to be in with any Ax hand. I would be interested in others opinion.
I think I'd tempted to...

Re: WTF is this guy doing???
Hmm I think we can make it about $7 on the turn. If he calls hopefully this will set up a check-check on the river. The reason I quite like a turn bet is that we can still get value from hands we...

Pre flop and turn are terrible. PF you have given odds to call with any two cards. If you raise big and villain folds thats unfortunate but better than the situation you got yourself into.
On the...

Re: 3 betting pre vs. raising the flop
Trouble is the times TAG does have a hand on the flop and/or he plays back at you, you have lost a bigger pot.
Its always good to mix up your play but perhaps you are forgetting why we 3-bet...

Obviously a lot depends on your read here. I see that flop aggression of 0.64 so thats why I think his min raise is strong. If it is a small sample or you believe this could be done with random junk...

His stats (FA = flop aggression?) are those of a calling station. When stations min-raise its usually bad news. You have the nut flush and getting great odds to draw. If a club...
