Just shove. Looks like a typical blind battle and I'd say your almost definitely ahead, at worst a flip. So lets give him a tough decision, instead of calling and risking the chance of him hitting.

His call pre-flop is OK, not great, but OK, I agree I don't like him leading on the flop, you play suited connectors for straights and flushes not pairs, he probably should have c/f the flop.
