Re: NL10 TPTK vs donk bet
I would fold the turn. Attempting to put villain on a range here after the flop call, QJ, 66, KQ, KJ seem most likely. Lesser chance of maybe TT, AK, AT. I expect to see KQ or 66 most of the time...

Re: Poker math quiz: evaluate this hand.
Almost feel like I'm missing something because this hand doesn't seem difficult at all. If we assume opponent has any pair or better on this flop, then we must improve. Our possible outs are 3...

Re: 10nl: Playing AQ, Q high flop 220bb deep
The turn bet is for protection (charging them at least) from flush draws and to get value from weaker Qs and lesser PPs. If he reraises big I would fold, you haven't shown any reason for him to...

Re: Odd situation with turn minraise. 25nl
If his PFR is really hovering around 1.75 that is an extremely narrow range, like AKs, QQ+. That being said we beat or split with all but QQ. It'd be nice to know if he would likely reraise KK/AA...

Re: TPTK 3 bet pot ~200 bb deep
I already read all the replies and agree with the call after betting, but I would've checked the turn through. The basic reason is to avoid this spot entirely. If we're behind we have 9, maybe a...

Re: [NL25] AA in 3bet pot
It'd be nice to have a read here. It's a tough spot, but I'd lean towards a fold because that board hits his range hard. We're hoping he has AK basically if he is anything less than a LAG.
Edit:...

Re: NL25, two times JJ.
Hand 1 seems standard.
Hand 2 I don't mess around. I bet a little bigger on flop, he raises, I 3bet him all-in right there.

Re: NL10 bottom set on awful board 270bbs deep
As weak as it may sound I check that turn through an awful lot. Is there a worse card that could come than the K/images/graemlins/heart.gif? Completes the flush draw, completes the only OESD. What...

Re: i check fold my overpair in 3bet pot
I know you put some time into that post, but I don't think it pertains to this hand at all. The 11/6 opponent is BB who just called preflop. Plus he never led into us on the flop, we checked to him.

Re: NL50: AQo in sb 3-handed
Tough, but I think I'm willing to go the distance on this one and push now. His flop raise is small too...maybe to keep you in, or maybe to make this a cheaper attempt at stealing the pot. His...

Re: i check fold my overpair in 3bet pot
I still would've bet 2/3 pot and shut down immediately to any call or raise. I would expect an 11/6 to reraise with AA most of the time, and KK a lot of the time. QQ, JJ, AK I can see him calling...

Re: NL10 - AJo calling UTG raise...spew?
Something I never do, but... if you know how he plays postflop well enough it doesn't matter what your hand is here. The only thing I would recommend is not doing this in MP. I would stick to late...

You need 11.7 times your investment to set mine with a pocket pair. That is all. That adjustment from what I was previously using undoubtedly made me a lot of money.

Re: 30nl - KQ turns monster draw
I prefer just calling on the turn. He's giving you profitable drawing odds, assuming our draws are live.
If you raise the turn all-in you need somewhere in the vicinity of 35% fold equity when...

Re: Intresting Spot at $25NL Full Tilt
Easy fold now.
I much prefer a blocking bet in this spot. Make it $6, hope he folds or calls. Fold to any large raise.
River give up if called on turn and you don't improve. If a Q I...

Re: Turned TP in 3bet pot NL5
I'm ok with preflop and the flop. I would bet this flop sometimes, but against loose players that will call with just overcards or small pairs I like a check. Easy call of the micro bet. On the...

Re: NL25 - AKs facing riverbet
I would play every street different except the flop.
Preflop: Reraise, UTG is so short, try to get him all-in. MP's preflop raise is small, he's likely isolating with something mediocre. You...
