Re: 50NL: Winrate vs stats
I'm guessing that a lot of those guys drop down to 50nl during the morning / afternoon where unfortunately I have to get most of my time in, you've just described perfectly the regular early game,...

50NL: Winrate vs stats
I'm currently retooling my game (played 16/11/3 for the last 50k hands but winrate hasn't been what it should be).
A lot of the higher stakes players advocate an aggressive game at or above my...

Re: TowerGaming FR multitable
I have a very similar setup. An extra gig of ram will probably help a bit, especially if you are using Vista - mine is on order. Otherwise do what Baja suggested, restart every hour and set PT to...

Re: AA - Comments please
Ask yourself, what does that minraise preflop actually achieve, aside from getting one extra measly dollar in the pot?
Basically it is almost never right to slowplay unless you can justify the...

Re: TowerGaming FR multitable
Haven't tried gametime, but I know this is a problem for everyone, basically I can't play more than 6 tables without turning the HUD off. How much ram you got? have you tried Tower support?

Re: 50NL: How much to raise?
With these kinds of passive villains, you have to do their betting for them and its usually best to assume they have the best possible losing hand which is probably AQ here. So, a shove seems best,...

Re: 50NL: Isolating Limpers
I play 50NL regularly so I'll have a stab at answering.
There aren't any cookie cutter answers to any of your questions. You should be adjusting your play to the table dynamic, not berating the...

Re: NL50: Just line check - anyone folding it?
The turn minraise often means "donk with a set", but no way can you fold here bc A8 does this too and a bunch of other hands. Think of it as part of your business overhead if you get oversetted.

Re: Another FR Split Poll
I'll just add another vote for 100nl being a floater for now, the worst thing that could happen is that overall traffic decreases as a result of the split and that's more likely to happen if the...

Re: 77 river decision (NL100)
Flop is fine but I fold turn, whiffed overs or flush draw are starting to look unlikely by that point. Def fold river as played without a very specific read.
