Re: 50nl 6max: KK am i stacking to her 4bet AI?

[ QUOTE ]
i raised < pot just in case, i could talk myself out of it later...but could i really fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well you could fold if you dont like money. If you do like money though then...

Re: 50NL - AKs OTB gets called and 3bet preflop

I call here, youre in position so taking a flop isnt bad. 4b/shoving isnt bad either but I rather do that oop.

Re: 50nl: 3bet pot with 98s

I dont mind pf especially if he has been active. I dont like betting the turn though. Like bozzer said, you will run into an ace fairly often. However, I will go even further. Im not convinced that...

Re: QQ on the button, just calling pos flop

[ QUOTE ]
am i the only one that likes a river shove here?

[/ QUOTE ]

You would need one hell of an image to make that profitable.

Re: QQ on the button, just calling pos flop

Raising accomplishes nothing. Folding isnt bad but calling isnt either. His small-ish bets would keep me in, if he bet bigger on the turn or river I would get away from it.

Re: 50 NL - KK fold the flop

[ QUOTE ]
My main question was how i could get the information i needed as cheaply as possible, and leading on the flop probably would have been wise. The villain is a tight mouse by his stats, and...

Re: 50 NL - KK fold the flop

Realistically, its a small sample of hands to get too caught up on the stats. If its a larger sample then you could start to question it. Yea I miscalculated though, it thought it was 100bb stacks. I...

Re: 50 NL - KK fold the flop

[ QUOTE ]
I think we're beat a lot as played and don't mind the fold to the 3-bet shove from someone with the stats he posted.

Major spew imo to fold here in a 3b pot getting...

Re: 50 NL - KK fold the flop

I really dont like the way you played this at any point. First of all, once someone raises pf and theres 2 callers ahead of you, you have to make a much larger 3 bet. I would make it around 10,...

Re: *OFFICIAL* December Goals Thread

Get winrate to over 5ptbb for a large-ish sample.
Get my roll to 3k to move up to NL100.
Start to open up my game more, making thinner vb's and calls.
Realize that not everyone 3 bets light....

Re: bottom set facing turn heat - PL$50

In a limped pot I think I end up calling here. He could have a flush but he could also have a dumb two pair like thac said.

Re: TPTK drawy board - fairly common spot

That doesnt really help much with this spot though. I dont have a timing tell, if I did I would have mentioned it. Im curious what everyone does against an unknown, not someone we have reads on.

Re: TPTK BvB

I dont really like checking behind this flop and I dont think this is a wa/wb situation either. I think he could have a fairly wide range of hands here so Im not sure why you think a check is...

Re: TPTK drawy board - fairly common spot

If I was in position I could call this bet and see what he does on various turns. However, I am oop and if he chooses to double barrel I pretty much have to fold. So if he does this with a draw,...

Re: TPTK BvB

If I just call a turn bet I am pretty much committed to the river. At that point a reasonable bet would be around 15 or more, but lets assume the lower bet size. 15+9.75+1.75 = 26.50. So I am putting...

Assuming we call the flop, what are your plans for t/r when either a blank hits or a diamond hits, or even a king?

Re: TPTK BvB

When I flat in position here, I dont just fold to every flop I miss. I do float and bluff/raise depending on board and villain. Not really interested in pf though, more curious how you guys would...

Re: TPTK drawy board - fairly common spot

FWIW I think a default line should be to fold against an unknown. It seems weak at first but we are going to suffer from some pretty bad RIO and we are oop. Showdown is a long ways away from here and...

Re: TPTK BvB

Im not sure why we would want to narrow his range down. I also dont really agree that his range gets narrowed much at all if we raise, this guy probably calls with most of his range in a BvB...

Re: TPTK BvB

I dont really 3 bet much pf in this situation, I like calling and taking flops. I also think in general AJ is a bad hand to 3 bet as it has RIO written all over it.

TPTK BvB

Villain runs at 37/15/9. He has a flop aggro of 17 and a raise c-bet of 35 so you have an idea of his aggression. I have seen him donk b/3b with a fd.

Re: Weak leads (way too late pooh-bah?) tl;dr

Value in c/r? There is no value in c/r.

When I have a monster I dont want a cbet, I want a stack. Its such a waste to fold out TP with a set on the flop.

When I have a mediocre hand,...
