Re: Couple spots vs same LAG, 5/10 NL live
Hand 1: i still fold, cant imagine him laying down a pocket pair here. Calling is terrible imo because he will c/c a lot
of rivers wirh a pocket pair, and the showdownvalue of your hand is, lets...

he likely has a flush draw or a one pair kind of hand that needs to improve. flop and turn are standard imo. shove river imo. let donkey call with one pair.

i check behind on the turn and try to catch a bluff on the river by a missed FD or top pair. this is the perfect card for him to bluff with so i wouldnt bet it unless i want to get checkraised...

Re: AK gets min-donked twice
A shove is burning money; he will not call with a lonely 8 or 9 and he wont call at all with a busted FD and a weak ace doesnt appear to be part of his range here.

Re: 5/10 NL AQs facing squeeze
i wouldnt have been inclined to call at all. Youre just beating a pure bluff; JJ TT have a Set, AK AJ AT has you beat and so on i think its a fold. But calling the hand twice sucks bad imo.

Re: Strange spot with AA
This is indeed strange. I dont see villain (SB) having a 6 here very often rather 77/33 but maybe hes just trying to see where he stands with 88/99 or maybe 55..
BB can have about everything, from...

bet flop is just fine i think because the fish will often call and maybe villain will raise so the pots gets very big. By checking u allow villain to cb just as it turned out because cbetting against...

c/r turn is horrible imo, because he will check alot of hands behind here and the pot stays small and c/c flop c/r turn gives the strengh of your hand away very much while a c/r on the flop can be a...

Yeah, especially when flopping a draw its great to be OOP, because c/c flop doesnt give your hand away at all! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I 3bet the flop because he can be raising a lot of draws here, straightdraws, flushdraws, combodraws and i dont want to give him the initiative or let him take a free card. Only hand that can have us...

I 3bet pf, since playing AQ OOP sucks imo.
As played, I actually like cring the flop but i like bet/shoving even more since u actually gain some FE over hands like AK or KQ. With a flop like this,...

Your 3bet preflop is way to small, i would raise to 150.
I would bet the flop as well because he can have TT, JJ and
some other hands that i do not want to give a free card here.
As played i...
