Re: 0.25/0.50 AK unimproved with position
I would venture to say that you or I do not have much of an edge (considering the rake) against a 14.4/7.5/2.2 player. I think preflop is fine with position. I think flop play is the most...

Re: Style and stats for 0.02/0.04?
I think a 25/20/2.5 player would be a tough oppenent at full ring, and I would not be looking to make too much from that type if I was a beginner. But I can't really tell from your post what you...

Re: Trip 5\'s (0,50/1)
You have a super awesome hand, get a lot of bets in. 79 is possible, 88 is possible, 66 is possible, but more likely when he raises the flop two pair or an overpair or something like k8, Q8 is more...

Re: Lagg player bets on flop A high, paired
Raise. Your equity is awesome against SB. If MP has AJ, AK he still has like 22% equity against, and if he folds to your raise they are making a FTOP of mistake, which is AWESOOME! If MP has only...

Re: Pokerstars $1/2 Frustration
I think FR has become difficult to beat at micro stakes, just because the rake is ridiculous. 1bb/100 is fine IMO though I am no Aaron W or similar level player. As far as your current stretch,...

Re: Is this Weak Tight Play
Obv call the river. Decision is on the flop either he has a 4, is overplaying a lower pocket pair, or is a maniac, turn and river action don't really change anything.

Re: Advice on my stats...
15,000 is not really big enough of sample size to determine if you are a loser or a winner. I think you can be winning player at 17/8 (though I think whether you can be a winner at these stakes or...

Re: QJo from SB
I usually just 3bet the flop in these spots. Seems like people raise only with a flush draw or a monster, so make him pay when he has the draw, I don't think you can really think about folding at...

Really? So 70/30 = player/backer? I was always under the impression it was 50/50...
Anyways I will search. Thanks for the response.

Re: do i fold this preflop
I would call all day. You lose somtimes if you hit, but its a big pot and you don't have to win too often to show a profit. Only fold if you both 3bettor and capper are very tight.

Re: AK live hand
Intersting hand. It all comes down to the hand ranges of the preflop three bet. In any case I think its a good turn card for you and I don't want to give free cards in a big pot and would bet it.

Re: Question for cash game backing
Staking is def not 50/50 with tournaments as far as what I have read. I think like 70/30 is more standard. I would do a search and see if you can find more details, I'm sure this has been discussed...

Re: AKo - 0.50/1.00 Stars - River Line
I think this is a pretty easy bet/call? I agree that stats are meaningless over so few hands, in particualr agression factor. I would only check/call if I think a busted draw is a big part of his...
