Re: NL25 - AQ on a AKK board

[ QUOTE ]

very unsound reasoning in my opinion. 63/3s are not positionally aware whatsoever.

[/ QUOTE ]

The thing is the preflop raiser isn't the one who's 63/3. It's the guy who...

But the biggest mistake was your preflop call. Itīs like the post that one post by grunch where he states that mistakes on earlier streets lead to difficult decisions... and this imo is...

Re: Hit flush on turn!

[ QUOTE ]
why? more explanaitions plz.

[/ QUOTE ]

you have the nuts, you want to build a pot. notice that checking does not get this done. next time, bet turn, raise more on the river.

25NL AK 3bet pot

no reads on villain at the time of this hand, but later i found out he has TAG stats. should i be checking this flop? considering the way that i played it though, would anyone fold after the flop...

Re: 10NL QQ, what to do?

[ QUOTE ]
Against this guy I think I bet/fold the turn ($4) with plans to check behind any non-Q river.

Reasons:
1) I think this gets the most value from PP that we crush
2) It allows hero to...

Re: NL $25 - 75s OOP

i think if you're gonna lead flop, you might as well just shove it all in after his raise. however, you have 0 fold equity and you are almost certainly behind. basically, you're just trying to...

10NL QQ, what to do?

villain in this hand is a TAG, running at around 22/16/3. from what i remember of him, he seems to be a competent player, but sometimes he gets spewy and i have no idea what he was thinking. ...

Re: 10NL AK, monotone flop, turn check-raise?

Re: 10nl live

i think you should push.

on the flop, i think you should definitely bet. if he gets committed with just an A here, even more reason to bet.

any other reads on opponent?

10NL AK, monotone flop, turn check-raise?

villain in this hand is a bad LAG, approx. 40/20/infinity. i honestly don't have any idea what hand he has. i really thought with a set or two pair he would raise this flop. i don't have great...

Re: 50NL Flopped middle set 200BB

[ QUOTE ]
Honestly, you cannot call this push! Your reraise clearly signals a set on this dry board. It's not possible that you have a 2 pair hand, an overpair on your side is very unlikely, too,...

10NL AA, donk raises flop on drawy board

i didn't have too much of a read on villain, but in the 20+ hands i had on him, he saw the flop 80% of the time. he hardly ever raised postflop, seemed to be very straight forward postflop. ...

10NL JJ, paired board on turn

villain is pretty bad. very loose and very aggressive. the type of player that when he's hitting cards, he'll put TAGs on tilt and literally be up 5-6+ buy-ins. something just did not smell right...

Re: NL25 AA & 52s

in hand 1, bet more on the flop, turn is iffy, i probably would have checked and called if he bet and see a river. i don't think a bet is too bad though.

hand 2, definitely raise the turn. ...

Re: 10NL: TPTK on river on nasty board

wait, 98 is not a gutshot on this flop.

i usually don't cbet this flop. it's pretty drawy with the obvious flush draw and some straight draws possible. plus, it's 3way action. heads-up i...

Re: 50NL, i rr w/ AQo pf. flopped TPTK. my line?

[ QUOTE ]
this hand is played poorly on every street.

(1) Preflop call or fold, fold is probably best.
(2) flop check fold
(3) turn is pretty wow.

[/ QUOTE ]

preflop, meh i think you can...

Re: NL10 33, flop set, flush hits on river

raising preflop isn't terrible here. it adds money to the pot, and the times you hit a set, you'll probably be playing for a big pot. i think you can go either way in this situation. neither is...

Re: NL25 - QQ Hand 225BB deep

i think this is a pretty easy call. You have every hand crushed except for AK, and even against that you have a bunch of outs to fill up.

also, you should definitely raise this flop and hope to...

Re: 10NL 3-bet blind defense, should I bet this flop?

i would have just folded preflop. i know people say this a lot but this is nl10, you really don't/shouldn't play back at people with complete garbage. at this level, it's just complete spew. even...

Re: 50NL, QQ from the BB faces weird action

i would push preflop. like vyse said, you'll see so many garbage hands here, i think it's a very profitable play.

NL10 33, flop set, flush hits on river

Both villains are donks. Don't have too many hands on them though, but from what I have seen so far, I think it's safe to say they're both pretty donktastic. Is this river an auto-bet? If I bet...

Re: 50nl AK flops top 2

44 seems to fit perfectly with what he has. I can't really see him doing this with an A, unless possibly A4s? I just can't see any other hand that he would do this with.

Re: NL10 KK, monotone flop c/r against TAG

I was not worried at all about the CO. He is a terrible donk, and I was positive he didn't have a flush. If it was just him, I was getting it on any non-heart turn.

NL10 KK, monotone flop c/r against TAG

Villain has TAG stats, but I don't have a ton of hands on him. I don't know what a limp in the SB, then calling a 8x raise preflop means, but i guess he could have Axs as well as a wide range of PP....

10NL AQ push preflop, you like?

obviously, this isn't something that i do normally. however, the limp/call of the shorty's push pretty much showed me that villain with the bigger stack (UTG+1) had a small pocket pair, or at worst...
