In any other sporting competition there is an affection for the underdog and a genuine delight when a competitor with skills perceived to be inferior...

Re: ; / :) ) ) )
In the ak hand, I guess you put him on 77/88 with a heart (done with hand), AJ (maybe a crying call), KTs (bets it), or JJ (bets it). I don't see him having KQ/J here. Dunno if AT can still be there....

Re: Losing with AKo...
If your games are unusually loose and pots are typically very multiway ako is going to shrink up. Don't take it too far.

Re: 2 pair river call?
I would put him on quads, as crazy as that sounds. A guy this passive has enough to donk flop into 3 players and reraise a river 3? It's the only thing that makes sense. I suppose if he's playing any...

Re: weird donk
If he's good/tricky enough to think bet/3 after catching the 4 he's good enough to fold anything else when raised.
If he's just a typical small stakes player it's a poor blocking bet and an easy...

Re: Bottom pair vs. continue bet to river
On super dry flops like these I c/r flop. It's obvious no one is drawing so you either have it or you don't. I make my declaration and see how he responds.
The fact that you are calling down on a...

In hindsight I don't really like my line because this isn't how I play my strong hands. The only one I can imagine playing like this is 77, and even that one I might attempt to...

Re: 77 line check
I'm giving BB a wider range. At this point (on the flop) it's just a standard C-bet. AK-, JJ- don't have a lot of equity vs Hero's range once he raises. I think a 3bet from BB here is especially...

Re: 77 line check
He has a bdsd too. He has at least 4 outs. With the chance that his hand is good this can never be a flop fold.
I would raise flop. I don't see how a worse hand can 3b given circumstances....

I fold this pf but anyway.
I do c/r the flop and lead the turn. He may fold small pp's but I kind of doubt it. Fishies are going to go to far with them with all sorts of reasoning.

Re: missed AK against Donk in multiway
With SB likely going all-in on the turn you have some protection. He can't charge you if he catches and BB will likely not bluff river if he's drawing. I call.

From an agro player I think its raising 77-99
to a more passive TAG I think its not raising a T.

Re: good spot to 3 barrel
Let's put villain on a hand.
He flat calls pf. So if he's semi-reasonable he has a marginal hand that plays better 3way than HU. Ax and pocket pairs do not fit that category. Ax and med-small...

Re: good spot to 3 barrel
You aren't barrelling; you are value betting.
Question is: KQ for value on the end?
Depends on read but I do like my hand here. If he's calling down K high he still thinks it's good.

Re: Blind battle with bp
Based on your read sounds like a b/f. If he's only raising strong hands then you're safe. Your hand is vulnerable and it looks like a flop peel. Getting a fold is good.

Re: MORE POLLS
We have to be able to value bet thin, but if we call all reraises our strategy defeats itself. 3betting QQ we are just asking villain to play worse than we do. He is obviously value betting thin on...
