So I've been dabbling in low stakes 6-max NL. I'm not sure if this hand is that interesting but here goes:
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (5 handed) Full Tilt...

Re: Help me adjust to big blind gets the button limcash
So you want to tighten up in the SB by only playing your top 60% or so. Depending on your opponent's range from the SB you want to defend almost everything from the button (minimum top 80% against...

Is it worth it to post limit HU hands here?
It seems like every post is about HU NL or HU SNG (which I assume is also NL). Does anyone here play limit HU? If not which forum should I be bugging?

I wanted to thank Terry for responding to my comments and to reiterate that I think he (et al) wrote a solid book. I prefer Stox's book currently for the stakes and games I play at but I would have...

Re: theoretical hu question
I'm not sure why WillyT thinks his equity needs to be higher than 2/3 on the flop given the opponent? On the flop to river you are getting 1/2.8 for a call down so winning a little more than 1 in 3...

Re: Tanenbaum or Stox?
Stox's hand ranges are based on a more disciplined approach to the game. I wouldn't call his recommendations particularly tight as you will approach the 30/20 game that is recommended here on 2+2...

Quick Question about WPEX...
I doubt this is the right forum but I couldn't decide which one was.
My question is can you do peer to peer transfers on WPEX?

Re: YertleTurtle is possible bot
If my winrate at 30/60 was positive long-term I would be happy but since I doubt I can beat that limit long-term I doubt even more that I could build a bot to do so.

Re: stoxtrader quit poker for stoxpoker?
This is pretty funny stuff - if you go to the site you see twenty or 30 new posts a day and most of them by the four major owners. I think they would be happy with 50k a month at this point.

Re: Question about table selection (more specifically pokerstars 10/20
God I hope that regulars don't toss 65% of their BBs versus a button raise. I guess I'm used to regular meaning "good" and sitting to their right meaning "getting 3-bet all day long". I definitely...

Re: Question about table selection (more specifically pokerstars 10/20
I would spend more time on seat selection against regulars. Put three regulars to my right and I'll play all day - to my left and I'll leave.

Re: K5o trips+flushdraw, lots of action
Although your hot-cold equity is good enough to call with an unsuited king I think you have to toss a bunch for playability reasons unless you only have a bet or two left. I'll go K7o or K2s.

Most good NL players I know started in limit and most NL players I know who tried to pick up limit really suck. Not statistically significant but anecdotically interesting.

Re: Q7s MONSTER hand
I'm still with Stox here. Against a player who is capable of folding AA-KK to a 3-bet you are losing value. You are losing value against an opponent who will bluff bet a missed draw on the river. ...
