Re: Zenith TV troubleshooting question

I still say it is fried.
Recommend completely taking apart the TV and manually resoldering all connections and fault checking with a multimeter.
May have to visit local dump for...

Re: Zenith TV troubleshooting question
[ QUOTE ]
If the contacts aren't faulty, then whatever circuit board those contacts connect to is probably fried or there may be a short somewhere. No easy fixes, that's for sure.

First gotta get it outta the way:
Eh? There isn't a front control panel you can manually control it from?

Pressing the buttons on the front control panel makes the...

Zenith TV troubleshooting question
I do realize that a TV is not a computer but I am hoping the smart people here can help me. The wider internet has not been very helpful. I found a 20" CRT Zenith today, model #SR2053S. Yes it is...

Re: Blue Dragon any good?
Dire,
Let's just agree to disagree this time, alright? I don't really fancy an endless pointless argument right now, especially when we both know I'm right.

Re: Blue Dragon any good?

The problem here is that one of the primary components of your complaint with the game was just wrong. Go look up even the most critical reviews and you'll see praise for the graphics....

if you're talking about figuring out all of that by doing computations on the subatomic level (instead of "the wind blows" it's "quark does this, neutrino does that"), that's way more...

If you guys find the NYT article interesting I urge you to read Nick Bostrom's original paper, which can be found on his personal website (linked to in my earlier post in this thread). I think the...

Re: Super drawish flop
Why can't you just call? Protecting your hand against BB has gotta have a lot less value in this spot than it would HU, as even if BB folds you'll still have to beat UTG. Meanwhile if BB is as...

Re: Blue Dragon any good?
two more points,
i concede it was a low blow to compare Blue Dragon graphics to early Xbox graphics technically...they are much better from that standpoint.
i don't agree however that Wild Arms...

ilya, you really might want to try the game before bashing it. I really can't even believe you just said the graphics look like they belong to an early XBox game. The graphics in Blue...

Re: AKs - River Bluff v. Donk
I think raising the turn sucks as you're easily getting direct odds to call and your implied odds are pretty good as your draw is well-concealed -- it's safe to say that you'll win $10-$15 more on...

Wild Arms 5...PS2 sleeper hit of the year?
Wild Arms has developed a reputation as a solid but unexciting franchise, unlikely to amaze anyone who's played the latest Final Fantasy or Shin Megami Tensei game. So it's no surprise that Wild Arms...

Re: An unknown pushes into my TP2K
You would be really exploitable if the unknown somehow knew you would fold TP2K in this spot, and you didn't know that he knew. But since he is unknown he doesn't know. So I wouldn't worry about it...
