Overpairs vs. Flop Aggression (Discussion)
As I have been going over my NL hands my glaring leak in my game seems to be overplaying high pocketpairs against flop aggression. This goes both ways though as most of my big wins are from high...

Re: \'Administration\' fees - Pacific Poker

[/ QUOTE ]
When I was there opening day I saw 2/4, 3/6, 10/20 and 50/100. There was 'interest' for other limits,...

Re: Mountaineer Trip Report- WV
Just wanted to add my two cents:
I arrived at 5:30 and was immediately seated for 1/2 NL. Max buy-in of $300 is nice (I heard Wheeling is only $200). Nobody else had bought in for the full...

Mountaineer Status?
Any update on when the Mountaineer in WV is opening up their poker tables? I heard a rumor that it was this Friday, but have no solid evidence - but this article...

Re: BEST DAY EVER!!!
yeah looks like 1/2 - there's never a streak upwards more more than ~250 anywhere I can see (winning that much and never stacking anyone at 2/4 would be impressive though). how many tables do you...

Re: Won $ at Showdown %?
OK while we're talking stats...won money w/o showdown. is it possible to get this number positive over the long run? i'm always negative, -5.7 BB/100 over my last 20k hands. i'm guessing that's my...

Won $ at Showdown %?
I've seen some people say that having a W$SD % that's in the upper 50s and 60s is a leak...is this a joke or a legitimate leak in the game in some way shape or form? I couldn't rationalize why it...

Re: Comments on dead even eV call?
I don't like the play on the flop at all. Even though he was drawing, evaulate his range with what he would push with and I think you're behind 90% of the hands. You need to have a sure read that...

Re: [50NL] AKs facing 3-bet OOP
This time it turned out to not be so bad (being that villain had AA), but anytime I see an 80/20 with 100BB effective stacks with AKs in this situation I'll push unless I have a dead solid read...
