Re: 25-NL-KQs
We have a bet going, I told a friend I would make just as much as him for the month playing on 40BB. Just kind of an experiment. I am also trying to get into the shortstackers head.

25-NL-KQs
I have been running into these situations lately. Given the stack size, is this an easy commitment?

Re: 200NL: Routine spot...line check
When he calls the flop, I'm done. If I thought he would fold some hands that beat us, I might bet the turn. As far as hand was played, I am folding river

25NL-my play is going down the tubes.
I feel like a moron paying this guy off on the river. I know I'm beat, or at least suspect it, and call anyway. Anyone else have that trouble-knowing the right thing to do-but not doing it for some...

Re: NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw
I think he is going to felt and overpair most of the time here, agaist the normal goofballs-I bet with the plan of pushing here, but against this guy, I don't think so. I think it will be a rare...

25NL-TPGK-OOP
These TPGK situations come up often, and I think that I need to play them better. I usually bet flop here, didn't because was doing something else. Comments on all streets, most interested in turn....

Re: KT-TP vs PFR-I hate this spot
[ QUOTE ]
When and if I play KTo from the blinds, I'm looking for a straight, or at least top-two pair or trips.

Thank you for the reply. I am in the cutoff, not the blinds. What...

25NL KT-TP vs PFR-I hate this spot
I don't usually get myself into these spots. It was not really the hand I was looking for, but the way it went down, and his stack size. I ran a few numbers on poker stove, if his range is just top...

Re: NL25 AA makes nut full house
Raise more PF. Bet the flop, you would c-bet here to represent the Ace with other hands. I check call the turn. River, I lead out 1/2 to 3/4 pot. Check-raising the turn sounds the alarm bells, when...

Re: NL 10 i go broke here ALOT
I am 3 betting. There is no reason to think he has a set here. Think about ranges, not specific hands. I am not getting away here, unless I really know this guy. As an aside, think about raising more...

Re: Jacks facing ugly Flop
Probably best to just give it up-he did call big raise PF-I think it is a way ahead or way behind situation. At a higher limit, and more $ behind, I am betting. Save your cash for a better spot.

Re: 25NL: I shove 200BB preflop! Standard?
How can shoving have a greater +EV then just calling. I mean, what is he going to call with? I think this is wrong thinking. Yes, he will outflop you occasionaly, but he will also call your all in...

Re: Play AQ in early levels?
I can only think of a few spots where things turned out good for me with AQ in L1, though it may just be my bad play.

Re: $6 6max Stars - AK on bubble
I would lean on the side of calling. If villian is pushing just 15% of hands it's +ev. Our goal is to improve our overall equity-not cash. I call unless u have some specific read and/or small stack...

Re: 16$ : JJ lvl1
Nice hand. I like the river check. Many players will try to run a bluff on the river, especially when they missed their draws.
