Anyone playing .5/1 Limit on WPEX?
 

I plug in the following into WPEX's rake saved calculator for .5/1 Limit

3 tables
8 hours per week
assume 60 hands/hour

Rake saved: 332 per month

Anyone playing low limits at WPEX that can confirm that these numbers look reasonable. The problem is of course that they may not have 3 tables going at any given time. I have it open right now and there are 3 .5/1 full ring games going but I think that is not the norm.

Do you think the norm is more or less? I would hope for the former, but being this late on a weekend I suspect the latter. I want this WPEX thing to work.

Well whenever I pop on the site there is usually just one full ring and then another table with 5 or 6 on it. I've never seen 3 full ring tables going on at once.

I just don't think the numbers are reasonable though.

Assume $5 pots that generate 25 cents on average
3 tabling 8 hours per week = 5760 hands in a month

5760 hands X .25 raked per hand /10 players = 144 per month while their calculator is showing 332 per month.

I've played about 8k hands there so far and i've never seen 3 .5/1 tables going full at the same time. It's usually only 1 table. And the rake saved calculator is pretty accurate.

Hmm, I'm surprised the rake calculator is close as I don't see anything wrong with my math. Maybe I'm underestimating the average pot size?

i just looked at my rake for abs 3/6.

total rake: $2193 (365.5 BB)
total hands: 12,865
total hours: 62.8

365.5 BB / (12,865 / 100 hands) = 2.84 BB/100 hands
$2193/62.8 hours = $34.9/hour

im paying $35 an hour in rake. that is retarded. wtf?

im in the process of getting rakeback setup. as of now im not getting rakeback. typical at abs is about 25-28% which would be about $10/hr.
