river TP, do i have a VB? party 2k6m.

whitelime told me to postr this hand, and i am obeying.

button is slothr0p, tightish TAG and big winner... im not sure if hes ever played w/ me under my new sn so his read on me should be minimal...
whats your river play? obviously comments on how to react to various bets/raises if u do something other than push is pretty necessary...

i dont see any point i discussing the flop/turn... flop, sometimes i check somtimes i bet. turn, sometimes i check sometimes i bet... but if u like feel free to comment on any streets, obv the river is the intersting (mb?) spot.

He isn't calling your raise with a mid Q is he?

I can't see 10s-JJs calling a bet here, I would check and see what he bets (I'd be a little surprised if he did).

tough to put him on a hand. i don't think he pays off if you bet, but i don't think he bets either if you check. i guess i check and give him the chance to stab at it, however seldom that might be.

I check because you are an unkown to him. If you had an image of a very aggressive tricky player this would be an easy value push.

Check-fold, the only hand you really beat is aq or maybe qj or q10 and he'll check those behind on the river.

Pretty sure this is a bad way of thinking about things.

1) Although you should do it sometimes, it's not mandatory to reraise pre with AK even against a button steal in 6-max as opposed to 3 or 4 handed where it is more necessary.

2) If you are going to reraise OOP with AK or other hands, then raise bigger than 3x (4-6x) so that you will know how big a hand he really has.

3) If you had AA/KK in that spot, would you have checked the turn? If not, then should know you have JJ/TT/AK.

4) River=WAWB

5) Goodie54 should be along shortly to add other comments.

River is not way ahead way behind. You are either ahead or you are behind. Saying WAWB on river makes no sense.
