Ask Madtown about sitcoms

Given that I'm on a sitcom kick lately (just finished up downloading seasons 7-9 of Seinfeld), fire away. I'll even take questions about dramas, if they're shows I've watched.

Two clarifications:
1) 24 and The Shield are both OOT favorites that I haven't watched, so no questions on them
2) Try to stick to stuff that aired later than 1990. Given I'm 23 and didn't watch Nick at Nite or TV Land, I haven't seen much older TV.

Was Cheers better with Shelly Long or Kirstie Alley?

Did you cry at the end of "Papa's Got a Brand New Excuse" in Fresh Prince Season 4?

I never saw Dave's World, but Wings was so bad that I have to guess Dave's World was better. Wings may have done the LEAST with a very good cast ever. Steven Weber, Thomas Haden Church and Tony Shalhoub are all awesome, and the rest of the cast wasn't bad either. I just NEVER liked the material.

I think the actual quality of the episodes was very similar -- IMO, the change didn't make the show as a whole better or worse. As for which one I preferred on the show, that'd be Kirstie Alley by a hair.

No. That's not to say it isn't a kickass episode, though.

Hey, what episode of Frasier was running when they interrupted it to announce Dale Earnhart's tragic death?

Am I inferior as a human for never being able to stomach more than 5 minutes of Frasier? This always bothered me.

Not for that, no. But I'm sure there are probably other reasons why you are an inferior human.
