large field Freerolls - optimal early game strat?

So I have "won" a 2k freeroll entry on Party with what looks like a field of 2k+

Is it better to play LAGgier in the early running and hope to steal a lot of pots to try to build a bigger stack early while there are donks aplenty?

Or is it better to play super tight and hope to make a few good hands to build my big stack?

I watched my gf play some $1 and $2 tournaments with huge fields. Even there the play is so crazy, that I am sure you will not be able to steal pots early on in a freeroll.

I would either:
-gamble like crazy early on and calm down after having built a big stack / busting.

or:
-wait for a hand and hope your AA holds in a 4-way all-in vs KT, A3s and 44.

Good luck.

There are probably too many calling stations, you can't LAG it up. Play tight, be very aggressive with your good hands. TPTK is the nuts, you will be called down by weaker hands. Do not bluff. They will call with middle pair.
