Is this stacktown, or baluga?

No stats on villain but I have one note, "Raised me on the turn with top pair, nine kicker."

So with my note...I dunno, AK with an Axxx board looks so good.

With your note I think I just push here. Maybe he has A8/7/5/55/88/77 but he can also have AQ/J/T/9 or something like A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Meh, its a wet board so stacking off here is ok given read but it is a 3-bet pot, a min raise, and you posted it so you've probably been beat. Nonetheless, 2 draws on the board not counting the random 6 here and your read...I'm pushing.

No actually I won this one, but when I won it I immediately went, "Jesus, I think I usually lose there."

So I posted it.

You have a read and the board is wet which means his range is a bit wider. I don't mind stacking off with those conditions, even for 150+bb. Now this would be another story with a different, passive opponent.

I think he would probably raise the flop with 2pr+ if he was good. Maybe he wouldn't if he was afraid of AAA but it doesn't look that way with the turn raise. Floating OOP with 77 would be pretty bad.

I would put villain on Ax and push, especially given read.

Given your note and that this is a 3-bet pot it makes me definitely lean towards a shove here. Readless (or if villain is passive/nitty) and if this is not a 3-bet pot I strongly consider ditching here.

Stats maybe?

No stats, I only had like 12 hands on him, but on hand 3 he minraised my KQ on a Qxxx board, and I called it and played c/call a small river bet, but he just checked through and showed Q9. After that I got suspicious of him.

Re: Is this stacktown, or baluga?

I think with the note this is ok, but as a side note I think flop bet is a bit on the light side. I'd go 9-11 on flop, and then 20-25 on turn (pot would be 30.25). I think it would make this spot a little easier.

edit: eg. shallower stacks in relation to the pot.
