I think if the board is dangerous it's an easy fold on the turn. It could mean he's betting a strong draw and you are 70/30 or something ahead, but he could easily be protecting a stronger hand or have hit a draw and be protecting against his action getting killed.
If it's a really dry board, I would wonder if he would really push a strong hand when he could very reasonably bet 1/2 or 2/3 pot. The small flop raise isn't always bad I think, but you should definitely have a plan when you do it. Maybe seeing the cards would change my opinion a bit or add to it...not sure. |
