There is the issue of the paired board that might devaluate your draw, but the thing with these is this:

Your equity is greatest on the flop, so you're always eager to find a line that gets the most money in on the flop (and such lines often look scary, giving you FE, which in turn adds to your profit, but FE is just a bonus)
