This early in a $5 tourney I'm probably making this call. Only thing you could be worried about is 33 or 44 right? Rainbow flop, no likely straight draws.... I'm shoving here.

Early in a 5$ tourney you can definitely be ahead here, and I guess when you saw their cards you were. I guess after you saw their cards you now know what people are capable of putting their chips in the middle with early in a 5$ tourney.

If either of then have K3, K4, 44, KK, 33, 44. Just go broke. But early in a 5$ tourney I wouldn't be surprised at all if they both had worse kings.

Re: TPTK Facing Shove & Call

(grunch) I certainly would be tempted to fold on flop. The first bet says I have, or can beat, top pair. The second bet states I am not concerned that you have top pair beat. One can have a set.

However, what would make me second-guess that decision is that it's early in a (relatively cheap) tournament, where reads are scarce and unreliable due to the sample size. People could easily make this move w/ a weaker K.

It comes down to how you want to play this tourney. If you don't mind going to the next tourney if you lose here, then call. If this is your only tournament for the day and you want to play longer, than folding here cannot be faulted.

Despite the doubts, I would still fold and take notes on the showdown. Big money with weak players can be reacquired, should either one of these raises are questionable.

You'll see K10 and like 88 here, call.

I think it's a push. I wouldn't be concerned with the utg pushing for 2x the pot. Any hand that beats you would most likely play the hand differently. The utg+1 just called instead of pushing which leads me to believe he has a weaker king and is looking for a showdown without risking all his chips or has a set and is looking for you to call.
