Hand 2:
Again readless (was 1st orbit at the table). I'm kinda lost with these types of hands and wasn't sure on the best line to take to the flop min-checkraise.

Hand 4:
Typical blind vs. blind situation. Opponent was 28/20/4. I had a feeling that he was just raising with air. Is it really worth putting in half my stack with a 3-bet with no pair no draw, or is the way I played the hand reasonable.
Given that most of the time I'm going to flop nothing in BvB situations, isn't it +ev for my opponent to raise my c-bet on the flop with any two, putting the pressure on me to pick up a hand.

Hand 1: I would fold, By his big preflop bet he could easily have AK, QQ+ Wait for a better spot

Hand 2: Def would shove because of his stack

Hand 3: Insta-call

Hand 4: Standard

Re: 25NL - A few really tough spots

Hand 1: I agree

Hand 2: Any way we can call this flop CR and proceed from the turn. Seems like there aren't too many hands that we beat, that will call our flop shove. He is shortstacked but still has more than 1/2 a buyin. I'm finding that it's probably not best to automatically assume villain is on a flush draw and push when there's 2 to a suit on the flop.

Hand 3: Ok. What range of hands do you put villain on.

Hand 4: Yeah. This hand is a standard fold. My question here was more theoretical. Wouldn't a thinking villain be able to raise any ragged flop and take the hand away from you a large enough percentage of the time to compensate for the times you do wake up with a hand. Seems +EV to raise any two from the Big blind no?

Re: 25NL - A few really tough spots

I didn't study the rest but on the first hand I bet the flop. If he raises you most likely can fold, if he calls you can bet/fold the turn. As played he could easily be bluffing a terrible hand because it looks like you have nothing. Let me read the rest now.

Re: 25NL - A few really tough spots

Hand 2: I would call an evaluate turn. He could be making a move with a FD or worse J and I would at least want to see what fell on the turn.

Hand 3: I felt here. I can't fold sets for *^&$.

Hand 4: If you're continuing you need to raise the flop. A lot of the times a good player will raise you here knowing you likely missed, a 3-bet works often. However, its easier to just fold and move on. He may have nothing but don't forget you do too.
