When do the better players decide to leave a table?

Provided that there are other tables at the dollar level you are playing at and other casinos in the area to go to, when does one leave a given table?

Obviously, this is when the cards have gone stale or have been since first sitting. So, how long is too long to wait for good cards?

Mind you, I am aware of stealing the blinds and bluffing the weak guy for the pot in the lulls between more playable dealings. Does one wait for 2-3 rings around the table before changing or what?

What is a good threshold or line to set and why. So as, to not wait too long when better money is had elsewhere?

Thx

At first I thought you were kidding.

Then you wrote:

And I couldn't stop laughing.

I suggest an ancient Celtic game of dropping toothpicks on the floor, if the numer is odd you change tables, if even you toss another toothpick on the floor.

ALWAYS REMEMBER

There is no memory in poker, the cards dont remember what you had the last hand. Just because you had a lucky night doesnt mean you are more determined to loose the next. There is no sense to that.

its pretty simple, ask the dealer when he is gonna deal you a strong hand, if its in too long then move to the BJ table. If he doesnt know he is obv not competent

This really is such an unfriendly forum.

OP - You don't leave a table because of "bad luck" or a dry run of cards, you leave because the game conditions do not suit you anymore. Ie - the two fish spewing chips have just left and everyone else at the table is fairly skilled, now would be a good time to leave.

If you are having a bad run of cards at one table this does not mean you will get better cards at another. Infact it means nothing, you could get dealt pocket aces 5 times in a row for all you know if you stay at the same table (or you could get 72os 10 times in a row, each hand dealt is an isolated random event not affected by previous hands)

The cards don't make you profit since they are the same for everyone in the long run, it's the mistakes of others that brings in the $$$.
