A river bluff

Villian is a pretty nitty tag, which is what he'll view me as too.

Preflop I think calling is ok? Flop I thought I have a couple of backdoors and position so I'll peel. Turn gave me the OESD and I thought I had pretty decent implied odds to call. On the river my draw misses but the flush comes in and my line does look a lot like a flush draw. His bet finally looked weak too, to me looked like a blocker from Ax so I decided to rep the flush and raise it up.

So, is making a move here a good idea? If so is the raise to $60 about right? I wanted to make it look like value town rather than an obvious bluff.

Finally, should I have even got to the river?

I'd rather 3-bet preflop with position, either take it down or get the betting initiative, and it will be very easy to play based on flop texture.

Flop, I guess you can float.

Turn is fine.

River seems a tad high. $50 should be enough to get him to fold his mediocre hands, then you lose less if he looks you up.

played it pretty fishy. You are in a spot and have no clue where he is at. I think you win this pot a large majority of the time with that river bet, but why put all this money in with no even really being able to put him on a range?

i think i would rather raise the turn if i was gonna make a move. it is very strong, and then you could bet the river if called
