3R: JJ BvB...Shove pre or played it fine?

I RR pre to build a pot to get the money in on the flop. after he called my rr pre-flop, I bet that specific amount hoping that he'd shove with most of his range which includes a lot that we beat.

I was wondering weather I played this hand fine, or should I have just shoved pre-flop and steered away from the fancy play?

?

you followed your plan and it worked.

if the question is concerning your plan and the logic behind it, then the standard play would be to reraise more pre so that you have about a potsized bet left so you can open shove or c/r or however u want to get it in on the flop.

but your way accomplished the same goal so whats the problem.

i'd make it 5300 or so pre so a flop shove is easier. even the amount you made it you i'd still be shoving the flop.

I think you played it fine. I'm most likely going to bet 5-6k when checked to on the flop, but it might not even make that big of a difference in this situation. Well played, I think.
