NL25: KK on AAQ board

I usually play 6-max LHE but want to give NL a try. In LHE I would always call this down, because I want to minimize my losses when behind but give him the opportunity to bluff his chips to me when ahead. I wonder if this is a mistake in NL.

Villain is 28/21/3 over ~50 hands.

I check behind on the flop....basically to do what you said you do in limit....also to keep his range wide and make him think a Q (true he'll prolly call with this on flop too) or like JJ/TT is good so he'll call a valuebet with it on a later street.

Would I also check if I had an A?

I would definitively standard contibet with an A here, I think it looks fishy for the PFA to check behind.

But with the KK, I have no clue how to play! The small bet on the turn is really weird, would a Set of Aces play like this? Also the Riverminibet doesn't look that strong!

No "Set of Aces" possible here. Just trips or quads.
Also from what I've seen at NL25, no villain would check-raise that flop with just a Q. But i might be wrong here. From the nitty way he bet on the turn and river i would put him on a small ace. After yo called the check raise he put you on AK or something. If he check-raised the flop with just a Q, NL25 might be getting a lot more tricky then i would think.

Editedto say that i play at party; other websites might have better players at this level, but i don't think i've ever seen a check-raise with a Q on a flop like this on party.

doesn't JJ/TT 3 bet preflop?

speakin from very limited experience... i think villain checks turn a lot if hero checks behind on the flop. guess wat we do on the flop depends on wat villain thinks our flop action means...
