i thought this hand was a cooler but i posted in the cheese topic and a guy said flat turn, i think this is not a bad idea and is the safest option, but i cant stack him that way, villian is like 55/25 and generally donkalicious so i was quite sure hed stack off with much worse than AA and of course he sometimes has a set/flush because donks play weird but i thought raising was probably the best play

what do you guys think

btw i included the whole hh cos its obvious what happened in the hand even if i only post him leading and some ???s after it, i think him flatting the turn and chekcing the river is a pretty retardo line with the flush anyway so river shove is automatic

definitely flat the turn...as played, you have to decide whether to stack off or not, so if you decide not to, the only option is to bet like 140 or something and fold to a shove.

are you talking about river cos im not betfolding top set when ill be geting li9ke 3million to one

i really dont think the river is a choice, if im raising the turn im clearly planning on shoving the river. if i didnt have the Ac its different but here raising turn and check river behind is retarded imo

yeah i'd call the turn and then just call a river bet unless you hit the higher flush. i've found that when a bad player calls the flop leads the turn in this situation it almost always means a flush.

I think your line is way too strong in terms of what you have vs. what you're representing. You're basically representing a flush with your turn raise and river overbet, so that skews the amount of hands villain calls you with to the top of his range. I don't know exactly how terrible he is from your description, but I think the edge you're pushing by playing it this strong is so thin that it'd be more profitable to take a line that favors pot control over value maximization.

You got greedy and overplayed your hand.

Raising this turn turns your hand into the lone A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] semi-bluff. Flat-call turn is pretty standard IMO.
