What is your the best line here against this type of opponent?

a) call, c/r all in turn
b) call, c/f turn
c) call, lead turn
d) 3 bet flop 2.5x and push turn

had a strong argument about this hand with another 400 regular.

respond with asnwers giving your action and reasoning, and % of his hand ranges (i.e. % of Kx, 45 and pair hands, air, set)

call, crai turn. This is 22/33/45/gutshots sometimes not even sets coz board is so dry, its rarely a king, if ever...so i think he has air here a decent amount of the time.

Re: 400NL against laggy regular

given he has air+gutshots/sets mainly, is there any value in 3-betting to protect from 2-8 outs

It's better to let him bluff on turn.

There is absolutely no reason to CRAI because a worse hand will never call you on a dry board like this.
Perfect spot to call and see what he does on turn, there are very few scarecards for you (hope for non A,6 turn/river)

Are we allowed to c/c the turn?

Re: 400NL against laggy regular

yea sorry.. that sounds good.. and check call river 2 im presuming?

my argument was 3-betting versus c/c.

i said 3betting was horrible since he is so likely to be bluffing. my friend said that 3-betting is good because he can have a hand that has outs and we are giving him free outs. esp if he checks the turn

Re: 400NL against laggy regular

1) how often do you guys think he has KJ KQ Kx here? given his flop raise that is

2) given turn lead.... for 1/2 pot.. can we fold given he raises all in (3x our turn bet)
