Does ePassporte have any effect on your credit?

I assumed it was like Firepay but I'm helping my roommate deposit and it is looking more and more like an actual credit card.

Do they actually send you a card or is it purely to deposit through your existing card?

Does this do anything to your credit?

Thanks, sorry if these are dumb questions.

As best I can tell from the T&C, it works like a debit card. They aren't extending you any credit. That doesn't mean that they won't inquire about your credit, though. I would advise you to email their support and ask, but everyone here knows that their customer support is a joke.

Alright, I helped him deposit but I have a new question. According to the ePassporte site, the deposit I just helped him make should arrive on the second Wednesday.

As best I can tell, it is already in the account.

Edit: forgot the question... Did we do something wrong?

When u purchase things with the visa card they give u u have to choose the credit option if the cashier asks u, Ive never thought about it before but since it is a visa card I assume that it builds credit just like my check card does.
