Free Money on WSEX Futures Market?
 

Not sure why but shares of Missouri to win the FB NC are suddenly trading at $3/$5 after being stuck at $0/$2 for I don't know who long. I'm 99% sure this just happened tonight.

I don't really have the money to tie up there long term, but it seems like free money. I just don't see how they could get in even on the off chance they manage to win out from here.

FWIW, I have them at about 12% to go undefeated through the Big 12 champ game.

If Missouri wins out they would need 2 of the three teams at the top (LSU, Oregon, OSU) to lose a game. Then they would have to win in the title game. It's a long shot, but it's certainly possible. It wouldn't be too hard to run the numbers.

The bet I am looking at is OSU to not win at -500 (sell at 16).

1) they could lose to UM
2) if they beat UM, they still might not get in. To me, one of the B12 teams gets in over them, and after that I like LSU more (LSU will have a tough go still in the SEC Championship).
3) They probably get beat in the title game anyway.

that line is open right now. -500 on OSU to NOT win the National title.

heh - oops i suck. Tried to bet it, "Event is paused" - clearly they would not be the 2nd favorite after losing.

hehe yeah they pause all those future markets during the games. -500 was before the game today.
