Online player going to Vegas.. what stakes?

I'm an online winning midstakes player who is going to Vegas for 3 weeks. I'm working on a budget and since I don't have a US bank account I gotta make sure I have enough liquidity. What stakes can I expect to hold my own in? I'm a 4+PTBB winner in 2/4 and possibly slightly less in 3/6. I have live experience so it's not like I can't riffle chips

2 5 NL would probably work. There are also 1 2 games if you run bad or are running low on funds. Live games usually play one level down. (5 10 NL live is like 2 5 NL on the internet in terms of skill of the players)

I dont think thats accurate tbh. Many times you will find that NL25 games are tougher than live 1/2 NL games. I think since the UIGEA that at the minimum the skill level for live is like two levels down for the internet. So a 1/2 game would usually play like a .25/.5 game but like I said, I have seen it play much worse than that numerous times.

0,05 / 0,10 is definately harder than 1/2 live, for sure.

Unless I read it wrong, I believe that from the stakes he posted he is a limit player. Therefore he is probably going to want to be looking at something in the 5/10 - 10/20 range.

OP if you're playing NL online you'll be fine an any 5/10 or game running and most 10/20+ games, so basically its a function of how much cash you can bring.

5/10 live is more like 25NL, maybe 50NL online if you get a tough table, if it reminds you of 100NL get a table change.

Go ahead and dive into a $2/5 game. Or since you will be there for 3 weeks and sound like you are on a budget, play $1/2 for 3 or 4 days and see how it goes, and if you profit then simply take it to the $2/5 game.
