NL50 - common turn spot

If a pot gets checked around on the flop and I have a decent draw or a mediocre made hand on the turn I tend to bet out. I do this almost automatically but I wonder if this is an OK play. What factors should be considered when making the decision to bet or not to bet and how do they affect the decision (position, limped vs pf raised pot, HU vs multiway ...)

here is an example
Party Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (SB): $78.19
BB: $106.31
UTG: $49.51
MP: $45.15
CO: $55.44
BTN: $36.93

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, <font color="red">CO raises to $1</font>, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.75, BB folds, UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50

Flop: ($4.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks, CO checks

Turn: ($4.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $3</font>, UTG calls $3, 2 folds

River: ($10.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $5</font>, UTG calls $5

Re: NL50 - common turn spot

Normally I fold pf but his min raise pf makes it whatever. I dont mind the turn lead but I plan on giving up on river.

yeah I was curious about the turn, I bet the river just in case he has a bigger club draw but he had a J

do you bet the turn without a draw too or only as a semibluff? Should this be the default line with a draw HU and c/c in a multiway pot?
